Surrogate, Gamer, Avatar; can you say all the same.  The concepts behind these movies are all the same human beings stepping into a real or manufactured body and running it on remote.  Here is the order according to rating Avatar (blows you away), Surrogate (has some good qualities) Gamer I saw this one last out of all the cyber hype and it should be last.  Not because the movie is so bad but because it was released on DVD during a time of cyber over run; can you say "Bad timing"  Gerard Butler(Spartaaaans!!!!!!)  did a good job but this movie can't compare to Avatar; which I have no choice comparing it too because of the concept.  So if your trying to get to see Avatar in IMAX (Canadian technology by the way yeah for Mississauga) and it's always sold out, and Surrogate isn'tt in your local DVD rental store get Gamer.  6.5 out of 10 says IGEM

This romantic comedy starring Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Johan Hill, Louis CK and Rob Lowe features a whole host of cameos just for the fun of it.  Here's whats up; the movie is set in a make believe world where lying hasn't been discovered yet.  Everyone is brutally honest about what their thinking so they say what they feel.  Then the unthinkable happens, one man discovers lying and it's unleashed in their make believe world.  This movie has some really funny scenes and really does leave you at the end of the movie with happy feel good feelings(can I say that?) Any ways if you like romantic comedys or the wife or girfriend is getting sick of all your action movies suprise her and pick up this movie spend an evening being girlified. 7.5 out of 10 says IGEM  

Im giving this review as a DJ, Producer and all time "House Head" since 1986, oh yes people 1987 back to D-train, Billy, Dennis Motto, Xavier Gold, Tony Humphries.  Ok, enough; when I walked into HMV and saw Minstry of Sounds Anthems starting in 1991 I was excited but skeptical.  After all knowing my mates from london who would be at the doors when they opened and leave at sun up, and eventuallly where disappointed with the diminish of the original Minstry vibe I should have known better.  This CD is what we refer to as Euro House, a total misrepresentation of House Music come now Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Jersey, Philly, Toronto let's hear you roar.  House music emerged right after Disco in the underground and it was soulful, so much you can mix down Gospel to it and come out with some great not for resale White label 12 inches.  So when I listened to what Ministry put out for Anthems since 1991 I was and am extremely dissa

Haydain Neale as far as I am concerned is one of the greatest Canadian GTA Local soul singers that should have gotten more worldwide attention, sales and push from the industry than he did.  Lets face it, if Seal bought a castle off the enormous exposure and sales he receives; Haydain should have been living next door to him.  In any case we will miss him dearly RIP.  This album is classic Haydain you can here the courage in a few song that it took to finish this album under his condition(champion).  But what an album, it has soul, pop, reggae all mixed into his own still of fusion that can't be duplicated.  Two words "Buy It", it's worth it and will definatley become a Canadian Soul Classsic for your Collection.  Don't download it take the bus, taxi, walk, drive get down to HMV and buy it , show your support for our own (We stand on guard for thee).  In the era of one song albums this is worth every penny

Set in the Midddle East this Movie is crazy from beginning to end.  Sergeant James Head is an elite soldier set with the task of diffusing bombs, this is no mere ordinary adventure; one mistake and its over.  This is a serious war movie that shows the serious consequence of a particular type of war.  The character seems to get lost in his own word as he triumphs over eight hundred bomb diffusion for the American military.  If your looking for an entertaining movie that will help to educate some teenagers about the reality of war this movie is it (14 and older is the rating)  What can I say 10 out of 10 says IGEM rent it!!!! 

This movie was so painful to watch, I was so bored I turned it off half way through.  Its been a month and I have no interest to finish watching it.  It's a dud, rent something else 3 out of 10 says IGEM.

This is a good movie it has some twist and turns that come to light by the end of the movie, Micheal Douglas stars in it but he is not the key actor in this one.  Amber Tamblin is a plain Jane actress that shows expensive actors don't necessarily make a movie good.  She pulls off her role precisely as it should have been played, she's confident, playful and smart.  I really liked this movie, you wonder why someone would go through the trouble that actor Jesse Metcalfe's character went through to prove a point.  The ending answers it all, go rent this dvd it's for adults (or of you like murder mysteries ) only because of the story and violence assoiciated with the story. 9 out 10 says IGEM.
